ISA Mortgage
What is an ISA mortgage?
An ISA mortgage is a particular type of interest
only mortgage. The only difference with an ISA mortgage is that
you will use an ISA (individual savings account) to save the money
to pay off the interest only part of the mortgage.

An ISA mortgage could be particularly attractive to
you if you like the idea of an interest only mortgage, but are put
off from using an endowment
mortgage.
The advantages of an ISA mortgage
The main advantage of an ISA mortgage is that the
savings that you need to accumulate do so free of UK income tax
and capital gains tax. You can use the ISA wrapper to make your
money grow faster (with the tax-free environment). This could result
in better investment returns. You can use a variety of investment
products within an ISA, along with lots of different investment
funds.
Choosing an ISA for your ISA mortgage is not easy,
so it pays to seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser.

Your home is at risk if you do not keep
up repayments on a mortgage or other loan secured on it.
