Our Financial Advice Process
We usually operate on a face to face
basis, and meet with our clients to gather information,
present advice and implement solutions.
We are happy to work for clients remotely, either
by telephone, email or post. Most clients fell that
they are happier operating on a face to face basis,
but where appropriate, working remotely can save you
time and money.

1. Initial Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is for us to meet with
you and discuss your financial planning
needs. We will use this meeting to gather as much
information as possible on your financial situation,
and we will use this information to give you advice
in the areas identified.
This meeting is without obligation, and will not cost
you any money if you decide not to continue with our
services.
2. Decide on the level of service that you want
At this point (usually during the initial meeting)
you will need to decide which of our core
services that you wish to take up. You can choose
from any of the financial advice services that we
offer.
3. Decide on how you would like
to pay for our services
Please see here for details on our payment
options.
At this point we will need you to sign
our Terms of Business and Fee Agreement (click here
for a copy of our Client Services Guide, which contains
these documents). These documents will form the basis
of our professional relationship, and we will need
you to sign a copy of each before we can act for you.
It is only at this point where you will make a commitment
to take up one of our services.
Please contact us if you
would like to examine these documents.
4. Research and recommendations
We will prepare the Financial
Health Check if you have requested it under the
Financial
Navigation service. We will then research the
most appropriate products for your needs based on
the charges, product features, suitability and quality
of funds.
5. Further Meeting(s)
We will arrange further meetings as appropriate in
to discuss and explain our recommendations.
6. Complete any documentation
If you decide to take out any plans, we will help
you through the process, and take over the administration
burden.
7. Suitability Report
We will write to you outlining the advice given to
you and the reasons for these recommendations, focusing
on the actual decisions that you take.
8. Follow up
We will schedule a future date for a review of your
decisions, and perhaps to focus on other areas where
needs have been identified.
Please contact
us if you require further information on our advice
process.
